Mizrahi

Mizrahi Jews are Jews who have always lived in the Middle East, including Arab or Muslim lands, North Africa, the Middle East, and parts of the Caucasus.

By comparison, Sephardic Jews come mainly from the Iberian Peninsula, but more recently they have come to include Jews from Africa or Asia. Many Sephardic Jews migrated to Arab countries and blended into the local populations, so it has become hard to distinguish African Mizrahi from Sephardic Jews.

Ashkenazi Jews come from Germany and Northern France. The first American Jews were Sephardic, but today Ashkenazi Jews are the largest number in North America.
